Product Support Specialist

What they do

  • Continuously expand knowledge of our product line.
  • Always deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Answer all questions and address all concerns that the customer may have.
  • Help customers be sure of which product is the right choice for them.
  • Demonstrate product functionality accurately and completely.
  • Accurately communicate all technical specifications.
  • Work cooperatively with the rest of the team.
  • Seek self improvement through mentoring and coaching from senior team members.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Remain in compliance with company guidelines at all times.
  • Log all customer contacts including contact information for followup.
  • Follow up with potential customers to see if you can be of further help.
  • Offer related products and services to new customers.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.
  • Significant work experience in customer service or sales strongly preferred.
  • Able to memorize product specifications and demonstrate use accurately.
  • Able to work cooperatively as part of a team.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
  • Desire to continue to develop skills and knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
  • Articulate and well-spoken with excellent phone and email etiquette.
  • Command of the English language, bilingual is a plus.
  • Strong work ethic, self motivated.
  • Demonstrate honesty and integrity at all times.
