Oversee tests and monitor activities such as software configuration verification.
Review and confirm company deliverables.
Track and review corrective and preventive actions.
Evaluate software and run tests.
Design control systems to apply to existing programs.
Review designs, changes, and plans of specifications and processes.
Oversee code verifications and participate in peer reviews.
Perform verifications and tests according to process.
Ensure project and processes meet all requirements and reliability standards.
Modify and maintain software quality operating systems.
Cover all aspects of test engineering.
Work with product managers, developers, and operations teams to prioritize tasks and workflow.
Perform code reviews and participate in pair programming.
Collaborate with team to identify and implement process improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in quality, mechanical, or industrial engineering; master's degree in engineering or a Master of Science in quality assurance preferred.
Certification as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) from the American Society for Quality preferred.
Five years previous experience in a quality engineer, quality assurance, or related role.
Experience with SQL, C, C+ , scripting, source control, and bug tracking systems.
In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies and up-to-date on industry standards and best practices.
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
