Forklift Operator

What they do

• Operate vehicle in a safe manner according to protocol.
• Perform any miscellaneous tasks needed to ship or store goods.
• Transport items to their designated locations based on a production schedule.
• Unload incoming vehicles putting stock in assigned locations.
• Load outgoing vehicles and ensure materials are secure.
• Move inventory about the facilities to their designated locations and do inventory security checks to ensure there are not losses to the inventory.
• Maintain equipment by performing all necessary tasks to ensure proper functionality of the vehicle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good alertness to ensure the safety of the work space.
• Forklift certification.
• Valid state motor vehicle operator's license.
• Good height and depth perception.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Ability to work in uncomfortable temperatures.
