What they do

  • Maintain their rigs to ensure optimum functionality.
  • Business-related duties, such as establishing a solid pipeline of work to establish maximum.
  • Accounting responsibilities, such as submitting tax information and calculating business expenses.

Qualifications

  • Commercial Driver's License CDL.
  • Pass random drug tests while on the job in order to maintain good standing.
  • Must own and drive at least one of their rigs in order to be classified as owner operator.
